   Responsibilities:
   Write firmware to implement new algorithms and features for capacitive touchscreen designs
   Design and develop validation plans.
   Analysis of touch screen’s field/manufacturing failures – debug firmware accordingly
   Learn projected capacitance touch sensing system architectures, design details, and requirements.
   Work with local systems, software, test, and customer applications engineers and with customer engineers.
   Required Experience:
   Write custom code to implement new functions and modify existing functionality to meet customers’ requirements for touch
   screens.
   Adjust parameters that affect the performance of the touch screen to optimize performance.
   Develop new algorithms to improve performance, solve problems and meet new requirements
   Writing C code for ARM Cortex-M based touch sensing microcontrollers to implement new algorithms and features
   Experience with capacitive touchscreen firmware is a must
   Qualifications:
   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
   8+ years embedded microcontroller/MCU background; ARM Cortex-M devices preferable.
   Solid C skills, Python experience a plus.
   Experience with embedded software programming and debugging, use of digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and
   logic analyzers.
   Knowledgeable of elementary analog and digital circuits.
   Experience using I2C, SPI, or UART.
   DSP algorithm experience a plus.
   Pays attention to detail.
   Good problem-solving skills.
   Curious and willing to take initiative.
   Able to work in both team and individual settings.
